Slack Etiquette 💬
Check Slack daily. Slack will be our main media for communications.
Default to public channels. DMs are private. So if someone asks you a question over one, others on your team may do the same later on without knowing you already answered it.
Use Slack Threads for Conversations.
Make messages skim friendly. Use emojis and bullets to help people understand and better navigate your message.
Mind the channel’s purpose.
Use @mentions mindfully.

Program Requirements for DS Discovery
Commit 6-12 hours per week to project. 1 unit of academic credit is available for every 3 hours of work per week.
Required to submit a Mid-Term Progress Report and a final presentation during reading week.
Required to respond to 4 short surveys throughout the semester.
